Welcome to U12 Hornets Rugby
The U12 Mixed category provides the opportunity for boys and girls to play contact rugby in an environment that focuses on safety, fun and  participation.  U12 age grade rules for game play are modified to reduce the number of players on the field (from 15 to 9) and increase the players  exposure to all positions.  In the U12 age group, individual skill,  creative play and small unit tactics are emphasized.

2009 Season registration has commenced, please refer to the Junior Rugby  registration page for specific dates, times and player fees.

The U12 Hornets play every Sunday morning and practice every Wednesday night during the season.  Refer to the Junior Rugby training times on the  Hornets website for specific times and locations.

We look forward to seeing many returning players, players moving up from  U10 and other athletes wanting to play the great game of Rugby.Rugby is an inclusive sport that provides an opportunity for all participants.  If you are a club member, encourage others to come out and play.  If you are new to the sport, come out and discover the fun of Rugby.  If you are new to the area and looking for a club to join, the Hornets are a well organized, efficiently run club that is constantly  improving to provide a fun, safe and positive environment for all players.
