For those who don’t know me, my name is Adam Stamper and I am returning as the Hornets Junior Director for 2010.

The season for the Hornets has already started, at the beginning of Feburary we successfully toured a junior U14/U16 side to Nothern California. With lots of preperation on and off the field by both our coaches and players we achieved a 6& 0 record in California.

I would like to extend special thanks to Bob & Hiedi Pitter our tour organizers for the tremendous amout of work they put into the planning and organizing of this tour. I would like to say thankyou to Mike Stott,Sam Godseth who where the tour coaches and to all the guest coaches who came out to assist int the pretour training.

Special thanks must go to the ten plus parents who made the trip to California, who helped with the hurt players, counted head's as they got on the bus and made sandwiches for the players. Thanks for helping make this tour a success.

This year is the Hornets 50th anniversary, to honor this the club will be hosting a series of rugby matches on Saturday July 17 and a 50th anniversary  banquet at the Carriage House Inn that evening. All Hornet  parents should consider themselves officially invited to this function. Please look to the website for further information.

Junior registration started on Saturday Feburary 27 at the Calgary rugby union we will beholding a second registration on Saturday March 27 and a third registration on Saturady April 10 at the MDLCA community centre in Copperfield. Please look to the website for further information.

Team socks and T-shirts are free with to U8, U10 and U12 with registration. All other age grade's will receive free socks and club jersey's will be provided to play in. Mini jersey's are availble for purchase please see Adam Stamper.
